Antonella Rocchi Defends PhD Thesis in L’Aquila (Italy)
On July 30, Antonella Rocchi successfully defended her PhD thesis at the University of L’Aquila, earning a doctorate in Translational Medicine. Her thesis, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Theranostic Nanomedicines Functionalized with Targeting Peptides for the Selective Treatment of Glioblastoma,” was supervised by Prof. Christian Celia (University of Chieti) and Prof. Tambet Teesalu (University of Tartu). The work was performed in part during her extended stays at our lab at Tartu University.
Antonella continues her career as a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory of Nanotechnologies for Precision Medicine at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), led by Prof. Paolo Decuzzi.
